
Our Spiced Honey Ginger Tea is not only delicious but also has soothing and immune-boosting properties, making it great for chilly days or when you need a little pick-me-up.
Ingredients:
- 2 cups water
- 1-inch piece of fresh ginger, sliced
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 2 whole cloves
- 1 black tea bag (or green tea if preferred)
- 1-2 teaspoons honey (adjust to taste)
- 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice (optional)
Instructions:
1. Boil the Water
In a small pot, bring the water to a boil.
2. Add Spices and Ginger
Reduce the heat to a simmer, then add the sliced ginger, cinnamon stick, and cloves. Let it simmer for about 5 minutes to release the flavors.
3. Brew the Tea
Add the tea bag to the pot and let it steep for 3-5 minutes, depending on how strong you like your tea.
4. Sweeten and Finish
Remove from heat and strain the tea into a mug. Stir in the honey and lemon juice, if using.
5. Serve
