Honey Lemon Oolong Tea

Ingredients:

 

  • 1 teaspoon loose leaf oolong tea or 1 oolong tea bag 

  • 1 cup hot water (around 190°F or 90°C)

  • 1 teaspoon honey

  • 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice

  • Lemon slices (optional, for garnish)


Instructions:

 

  1. Heat the Water : Bring the water to juste below boiling (about 190°F or 90°C). Oolong tea is best brewed at a lower temperature than boiling water to preserve its delicate flavours.

  2. Steep the Tea : Place the tea bag or loose tea in a tea infuser and pour the hot water over it. Let it steep for 3-5 minutes, depending on how strong you like your tea.

  3. Sweeten and Add Lemon : Once the tea has steeped, remove the tea bag or infuser. Stir in the honey and fresh lemon juice. 

  4. Serve : Pour into a mug and garnish with a lemon slice if desired. Enjoy your soothing Honey Lemon!
